If you ever wondered how I got to be the way I am there’s probably a good reason for it beyond the genetics my parents blessed me with and the cultivation of influences by friends and family. To paraphrase High Fidelity, “It’s not what you’re like, it’ what you like.” And, by this measure here’s a few ways the authors, composers and other word-smithy types have helped shape and mold me.
