spam poetry: go forth, go here

Spam Uncanned from Wikipedia This footnote to a modern HTML image laden email I recently received on Yahoo! (yes, I did just use Yahoo! and modern in the same sentence, frightening, eh?) actually probably made the difference between being flagged before it reached me and after because it’s so archaic in its wording and its placement on the page so old-school it even made me nostalgically smile. Not saying I miss 14.4K dial-up or anything…

We’re bringing this worthy e-memo by asking for it or you’re a new buyer on one of our many online shopping malls. If you’d like to be taken away from this distinctive electronic broadcast service any more. Go forth and Go Here.
