quip: an icicle falls in Brooklyn

The National Hockey League announced today that the ailing New York Islander’s franchise will move from the dilapidated Nassau Veterans Colosseum on Long Island into the new Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn. Without wasting my breath on my frustration with the league over the lockout and the disdain I have for both moving a storied franchise from its home AND having the new location be the BK, I’ll just put this quick quip out on the table

So an invisible team that plays in a non-operational league is moving to a rust filled building that holds less people than any other arena in the league. Oh Icelanders.
