publically private or privately public

Which is worse, keeping secrets or airing everything on twitter or other social networks for the world to see?

Either extreme can pose its own risks so regardless of the path you choose there’s still the potential for your world to come tumbling down.

Transparency is all the rage these days. You hear about it in corporate culture and in politics. Parents talk about it in regards to peering into their children’s not-so-private worlds as do spouces and significant others. Privacy is an illusion, or so we’re told by experts and think tanks and the conspiracy theorists as the fictional world of Huxley and Wells increasing becomes more liken to our own actual existence.
