Most new beginnings are made consciously as a way to change a particular aspect of one’s life. Even when the circumstance necessitates a change, accepting that and moving forward with it is still dictated by the individual’s effort to execute it.
A New Year and the ubiquitous calls for new beginnings are resonating all around. The seemingly arbitrary association between a simple accounting method of seconds and minutes, days and months and the monumental concepts that people rally around post-midnight is perplexing sometimes. What about this one day makes so many insist on making promises they cannot keep to themselves?
Tradition aside, there’s a desire to
